There is a crisis of fear that has been accepted joyously by folks who are not prepared to survive in a world that they thought they eradicated and fought against. There are folks in power like Representative Allen King who are taking the coverage that the new administration is giving him to proclaim what he is afraid of, that what he considers deserving humans, are disappearing. The public is still either celebrating or in shock that many are willing to go back to a time when violence was accepted and accessibility was limited to a certain group and these comments betray the intentions of those that have always claimed, like Steve Bannon and Ann Coulter, that they descended from settlers, not immigrants. An immigrant is person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country. A settler is a person who settles in an area, typically one with no or few previous inhabitants. Just that difference can help understand the psychology that is again being bantered by the new administration and why they do not care about those that are changing the face of the US, even though that face is the accurate face of the original inhabitants of the area.
These folks that are now running the cabinets have no need for financial security, they already have enough for themselves and a couple of their family generations. They feel that if someone dies because of lack of support by a government agency, this is not their problem; they deeply fell that those folks should have never placed themselves in that situation. Government control, the governing body of a nation, state, or community, has been given to a person who has no sympathy and much less empathy for those that suffer because of his choices, first as a businessman, now as the Chief Executive Officer of the US. His focus is to continue what has been saving him through all his failures as a businessman, he has now created a group of very affluent financial business people that can help him as a private citizen regardless of what happens to the citizenry he is supposed to protect. The election of a man who is wholly unqualified was based on fear, a fear that those who proclaim to have delivered the whole world to civilization are being disappeared. They feel that this was the fault of those folks that betrayed their own, the Liberals, and gave opportunity to those that do not deserve it, to their enemies.
Is he a racist, a misogynist, a fascist? He does not think so, but he has surrounded himself with folks that are and he is being advised by Steve Bannon, a man who is fully focused on destroying the entity that he feels is responsible for the destruction of folks like him, a representative government. So just in case these new folks do not understand why “Liberals” are opposing this new direction aggressively, they may need to be reminded what the word describes.A Liberal, is open to new behavior or opinions and willing to discard traditional values. Favorable to or respectful of individual rights and freedoms. (in a political context) favoring maximum individual liberty in political and social reform. “A liberal democratic state” synonyms: progressive, advanced, modern, forward-looking, forward-thinking, progressivist, enlightened, reformist, radical “a liberal social agenda.”
