Maryland Court Asks Commerce Department to ‘Go On the Record’ to Confirm No Further Pursuit of Citizenship Question

A federal judge has asked the U.S. Department of Commerce to confirm that it has given up its fight to include a citizenship question on the 2020 Census. U.S. District Court Judge George J. A short film on the Americanization of immigrants’ children will premiere on HBO Latino. “My Name Is Maria De Jesus” will start airing July 1.
